Orca Green Marine Technology Corporation (OGM) today announced the latest product in their expanding Argo NavisTM Series of LED Navigation Lights, finally freeing Sailboat owners of the arduous task of continually climbing their mast to fix their incandescent lights. Named the "TriAnchor," the combined Tricolor/Anchor LED light provides sailboats with a compelling solution to the long-standing issue of power consumption and reliability. Anchor lights have long been seen as necessary power drains, as they use up to 25W of battery power during a time when the engine is not running to replenish battery banks. With the OGM TriAnchor's power consumption at only 2.16W (0.18 amps), boats at anchor can ensure anchoring safety all night while limiting power drainage. The low power draw also allows for much smaller wiring to be used up the mast of a sailboat.
